Post Driver not up to date.
Okay so I have an issue with previous episodes of the game. I have a message for video driver not up to date. But it is.

I'm on a 1080ti btw.

I also deleted my \AppData\Local\OST_Game folder but it doesn't change anything. :/

I'm having the same issue with Chapter2Episode3.

Drivers are all up to date and deleting the OST_Game did nothing

And download it again?

The 2 might have been damaged or you may have deleted what you should not delete

I do not know it could be synonymous synonymous that another program on your PC the trouble

The possibility is great that is unfortunately everything with which I can hlefen

You can also search the internet for alternative solutions at similar play with many-same problem

I don't know if you are still having this problem but I was as well. I was able to get the game to work by running older drivers, I just downloaded the oldest driver available from Nvidia for my card. Another possible fix that I have not attempted is to change the windows default video card timeout in the registry.

Chapter 2, Episode 3 appears to have an unusual driver dependency when running on NVIDIA cards. More recent versions of NVIDIA drivers (385.XX+) will result in a crash on the main menu.

Reinstalling an older driver such as 381.89 appears to run it fine.

It should be noted that other UE4 episodes (such as 2-2, 1-1 (remake), and the various UE4 Holiday specials) do not appear to have this issue.

This might only be a Windows10 problem, but I can't say for sure without testing it on a non-Win10 machine.

Sadly, I don't know much about UE4, so I can't really offer a solution beyond "temporally roll your graphics driver back to 381.89."
